After graduating from Yale Law School, Harry clerked for Myron H. Thompson, United States District Court Judge for Middle District of Alabama. At Earthjustice, the American Civil Liberties Union, the Texas Fair Defense Project, and Keller Rohrback LLP, Harry litigated cases from the trial level all the way to the United States Supreme Court. One of the cases Harry worked on was the basis for the film “American Violet.”

Harry received his undergraduate degree from the University of Minnesota, summa cum laude, in 1988. He earned a Ph.D. in Political Science from Columbia University, and studied at universities in Beijing, Tianjin, and Hong Kong.

In addition to Washington state, Harry is licensed to practice in federal courts across the country.

Harry is a member of the Washington Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers.
